New Zealand cricket team's fast bowler Tim Southee has decided to auction his World Test Championship final jersey for a special cause. Southee played an important role in helping Kiwis register an eight-wicket win over India in the historic WTC Final. This was the first time in 21 years that the Kiwis won an ICC trophy.

A 7-year-old girl Hollie Beattie has been fighting an aggressive and rare form of cancer since July 2018. Despite two years of treatment, Hollie has not yet fully recovered.

Beattie underwent surgery last September, in which a tumor about three centimeters from his brain was found. After this, her family members became very upset, because it was necessary to start her treatment only after the surgery.
Some treatments are to be held in New Zealand, while for the rest, Beattie will have to travel to Spain. The overall cost of treatment is very high and it was becoming difficult for her family to bear such heavy expenses.
Tim Southee took to Instagram to pen down an emotional note for Hollie and announce that he's auctioning his WTC Final jersey to support the Beattie family.

In the India vs New Zealand WTC Final, Southee took a wicket in the first innings and played a crucial 30-run innings with the bat, giving New Zealand a crucial first innings lead against India. In the second innings, Saudi took four wickets - Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah.
