Not only this, they managed to complete six all-outs on Bengal Warriors, the most in a single match, surpassing the previous best of 5.
The fixture also saw the sides amass a total of 111 points, which also broke the record of the most points aggregated in a single match, which was 110, set by Patna Pirates and the very same opponents, Bengal Warriors, a ficture which was won 69-41 by the three-time PKL winners Patna Pirates.

Tamil Thalaivas and Bengal Warriors came into their respective last fixture, knowing that the match is a dead rubber as neither of them can qualify, with all six qualification spots sealed by Jaipur Pink Panthers, Puneri Paltan, Dabang Delhi K.C., Gujarat Giants, Haryana Steelers, and Patna Pirates.
