New Delhi: The Sheffield Shield final match between Western Australia and Victoria in Perth ended in a draw. During the summit clash, Australian all-rounder Nic Maddison, who played for Victoria in the match, was spotted mimicking team India's pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah's bowling action.


Maddison bowled a total of five overs in his spell. The video featuring the all-rounder hilariously copying Bumrah''s unique bowling action went viral on social media. Even the commentators and  Maddison's teammates were left in splits seeing his on-field antics.

Cricket Australia shared the video on Monday via their official Twitter handle and wrote in the caption, "Nic Maddinson brings out the Bumrah! #SheffieldShield".






As far as the Sheffield Shield final is concerned, Western Australia won the title even after the match ended in a draw based on bonus points.


Talking about Nick Maddinson's career, he has played three Tests and six T20 Internationals. In 2016, he made his Test debut for Australia, while in 2013 he played his first T20 International. Maddison also took a break from cricket in between due to mental health.


Jasprit Bumrah, known for his unusual bowling action, leads team India's bowling attack in all three formats. The 28-year-old is considered among one of the top bowlers in world cricket. He has been made the vice-captain of Mumbai Indians in IPL 2022.
