New Delhi: Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 has come to an end with debutants Gujarat Titans lifting their maiden IPL title this season. Discussions and debates regarding IPL records, players' performance, and team analysis are in full swing. Meanwhile, cricketing icon Sachin Tendulkar listed out his best XI for IPL 2022. Notably, in Sachin's IPL 2022 XI, names of veteran players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and MS Dhoni are missing.


IPL legends Rohit, Virat, and Dhoni were not in good form this season. Virat Kohli scored just 341 runs in 16 matches which included two half-centuries. Rohit could score only 268 runs in 14 matches. CSK skipper MS Dhoni could only score 232 runs in 14 matches. Rohit-led Mumbai and Dhoni-led Chennai finished at the bottom this season. Virat's RCB finished third in the tournament.


Sachin shared a video on his YouTube channel revealing his best XI for IPL 2022. Sachin has chosen Shikhar Dhawan and Jos Buttler as openers. KL Rahul has been picked to bat at number 3 and Hardik Pandya at number 4. David Miller, Liam Livingstone, and Dinesh Karthik consist of the middle and lower batting order.


Sachin's IPL 2022 XI included two pacers and two spinners. For No. 8, Sachin picked Rashid Khan. He has kept Mohammed Shami at number 9. Jasprit Bumrah, who took five wickets for 10 runs in an IPL match, is at number 10 in Sachin's team and purple cap holder Yuzvendra Chahal is at number 11.
