New Delhi: The Indian team recently announced their squad for the upcoming ICC World T20 World Cup which is slated to take place in Australia. The selectors had left out India’s talented wrist-spinner Ravi Bishnoi. He was a part of the Indian squad in the recently passed Asia Cup and had played only one match against Pakistan in the Super 4 stage. He bowled an economical spell where he only conceded 26 runs in 4 overs while picking an important wicket.

Also, in the T20I series against West Indies, Bishnoi had a great time with the ball as he bagged a total of 8 wickets in just 3 matches. The 22-year-old came up with a cryptic social media post on Tuesday, which read, “ The Sun will rise, and we will try again”.

Knowing the fact that the T20 World Cup will be played in Australia, the BCCI has eliminated Bishnoi’s spot in the 15-men squad. The selectors trusted Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, and Ravi Ashwin as the three spinners.

The Indian selectors have surprised by excluding Bishnoi, who has been performing well for quite some time now. What was more awful was he did not even get a place in the series against Australia, that came as a bigger surprise. Bishnoi has donned the blue jersey in the 10 T20Is so far and has scalped 16 wickets at an economy rate of 7.08.
