The flagbearer of the sport in India that has brought perhaps the most laurel to the country in the last ten years, PV Sindhu has spoken about her life off the court at length perhaps for the first time. While she has talked about her sporting journey and her sporting ups and downs- be it the injury struggles, the Olympic medals, the World Championship gold or the Asiad and Commonwealth Games success in the past, this time around, in a recent interview, the badminton star spoke about her relationship status and dating life..
"Single," Sindhu said in a video on TRS Clips hosted by Ranveer Allahbadia.
"Right now, it's just badminton for me. My ultimate aim is Olympics," she added.
When she was again asked about whether any part of her wants a partner, she said: "I never thought about it as such. 'Oh, yeah. I need a partner' like that. It's destiny, whatever is written here."
The interviewer then asked if she had dated anyone, she said: "No, not really."
"There is nothing good or bad about it. Life goes on. If it will happen, it will happen," she added.

Sindhu Teams Up With Prakash Padukone
While Sindhu had parted ways with coach Park Tae-sang earlier in the year, she later took to social media to reveal that she would be training with Prakash Padukone, sharing a picture with the badminton legend.
"For those wondering and constantly asking me, the cat is finally out of the bag!!," she captioned the post.
"Prakash sir is assuming the role of the mentor in my setup. I started training with him at the end of August, and it's been uphill ever since. He's more than a mentor; he's my guide, my guru, and, above all, a true friend. I wholeheartedly believe he possesses the magic to bring out the absolute best from my game. I am so grateful he reached out to me with one call when I was in Japan, and we've built on that connection exceptionally well. Dear sir, I AM PUMPED!! Looking forward to training with you! Let’s get to work," she added.
