New Delhi: Today is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 71st birthday. On this occasion, an auction is being conducted for the gifts and souvenirs given to PM Modi.
These gifts and souvenirs include kits and equipment from medal winners at the recently concluded Olympic and Paralympic Games. The auction, which began today, will continue till October 7. The money received through this auction will be used for the Namami Gange project.

The badminton racket that Suhas gifted to PM Modi has been put at a base price of Rs 50 lakh at the auction. But in only a few hours since the auction started the bid for Suhas's badminton racket has reached Rs 10 crore.
Neeraj Chopra's javelin has been put at a base price of Rs 1 crore. Chopra gold medal-winning at the Tokyo Olympic Games javelin's bid has reached Rs 1.20 crore in the auction so far.
The base price of Rani Rampal's hockey stick, the captain of the women's hockey team who made history by reaching the semi-finals of the Olympic Games, has been put at Rs 80 lakh. This hockey stick has signatures of all women's hockey team players. The price bid for the hockey stick has reached Rs 1 crore so far.
