NZ vs ENG, ICC World Cup 2019 Final: Kane Williamson-led New Zealand will engage in battle against hosts England in the grand finale of the 2019 ICC World Cup at the historic Lord's cricket ground later in the day. While New Zealand stunned India in the first semi-final at Manchester, England thumped traditional rivals Australia in the second semis at Edgbaston to make it to the summit clash.

England, who secured 12 points after winning six of their nine round robin fixtures sealed the third semi-final spot in the ongoing Cricket World Cup. On the other hand, the Kiwis had edged Pakistan on superior run rate to make it to the last four stage of the tournament.

The 2019 Cricket World Cup final at Lord's will witness some key players from both teams vying for some major career landmarks. While world class stroke-makers like Kane Williamson, Jason Roy, Eoin Morgan have set the tournament ablaze with some stellar performances with the bat, speed merchants like Trent Boult, Matt Henry, Lockie Ferguson, Jofra Archer and Mark Wood have produced some devastating spells with the new ball.

Here are some of the major milestones which can be attained by New Zealand players in the finals against England:

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson (548 runs) is one run away from becoming the highest run-scorer as a captain in a single Cricket World Cup edition. Williamson is currently the joint record holder with Sri Lanka's Mahela Jayawardene who also scored 548 runs in 2007 CWC.

Ross Taylor (987 runs) needs 13 runs more to complete 1,000 runs in his World Cup career. Stephen Fleming (1,075 runs) has been the only New Zealand batsman to score over 1,000 runs at the ICC World Cup.

New Zealand opener Martin Guptill (976 runs) is 24 runs away from completing 1,000 runs for his nation at the ICC Cricket World Cup.

Trent Boult (447 wickets) needs to pick up three more wickets to complete 450 international wickets. The left-arm pacer will be the fourth New Zealand bowler to take 450 international wickets.

Lockie Ferguson (18 wickets) is one wicket away to become the highest wicket-taker as a right-arm New Zealand bowler in a single World Cup edition. Ferguson is currently on the joint top position in this list along with Tim Southee (18 wickets in 2011 CWC).
