New Delhi: The Golden State Warriors have won their second NBA Championship in a row by crushing the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-85 in the fourth game of the finals. The Cavs were decimated 4-0.
Stephen Curry scored 37 points while LeBron James could just manage 23 points for the Cavaliers in the match that was very crucial for the hosts to stay alive in the series. James can become a free agent this summer and his future is reportedly uncertain.
Kevin Durant scored 20 points and was honoured as the Finals’ Most Valuable Player by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver for the second year running.
Warriors led by Curry have won the title for the third time in four seasons. They had lost 24 games during this season.
