NBA 2023/24 West Conference Playoffs: Minesssota Wolves defeat Dallas Mavericks 105-100 in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals Playoffs to stay alive in the National Basketball Association (NBA) 2023/24 season. With the win, the Wolves have now forced a Game 5 and are now 3-1 behind in the tie. No team has ever made a comeback while being 3-0 down in the NBA playoffs history, and this year's NBA Finals' finalists — Boston Celtics came really close of pulling off the historic feat last year, but failed to do so.

WIth the defeat, Kyrie Irving has now lost his long-standing iconic record of never losing a 'close-out', as his 14-game winning streak has now come to an end. For non-NBA fans, a 'close-out' game is referred to the decider of the series, meaning, that the match will decide the fate of either of the sides.

Anthony Edwards: The Young Boy Who's Becoming Man For The Occasion

Anthony Edwards once again was the pivotal man in Wolves' victory, as the 22-year old young sensation registered a 29-point game and nearly a triple double, and was complemented by Karl-Anthony, who recorded 25 points in the vital win.

"We just wanted to get one game and extend the series. I've never been swept in my career. I didn't want to get swept. Not on their home court, hearing their fans talk trash all day," said Anthony Edwards in post-match press conference.
