New Delhi: India vs England 2nd Test is set to start from August 12. The first match of the five-match Test series between the two teams resulted in a draw due to rain. On the fifth and final day of Ind vs Eng 1st Test, Team India needed 157 runs to win, but due to incessant rain, a single ball could not be bowled. After the tea-break on Day 5, the umpires took stock of the ground and declared the match to be called off.

Michael Vaughan Feels These 3 Players Should Be Dropped From Ind vs Eng 2nd Test

Before the start of India vs England second Test, ex-England captain Michael Vaughan has come up with a suggestion for the England cricket team. He has recommended names of three players, who the team management should consider about dropping from the Ind vs Eng Lord's Test. Michael Vaughan said Dom Sibley, Zak Crawley and Dan Lawrence need to be benched for Ind vs Eng 2nd Test.

“Ollie Pope if he’s fit I think he’ll replace Dan Lawrence. Zak Crawley at number three just looks like he needs a bit of time away from Test cricket there’s a lot of pressure on young Zak Crawley maybe just a little bit of time away, just go and work on his game and then, he’ll come back I’m sure for the Ashes series on wickets that suit his style of play.

I’d send an SOS to Dawid Malan and put him at number three. I think he’s a high-class player with a bit of experience and also I will replace Dom Sibley at the top of the order with Haseeb Hameed. I’m moving and shaking in terms of the batting lineup, somehow England will need to find a spinner because the forecast is good for Lord’s,” said Vaughan as quoted by Cricbuzz.

Vaughan wants the team management to give Haseeb Hameed a chance in place of Sibley, David Malan in place of Crawley and Ollie Pope in place of Lawrence. In the absence of national hero Ben Stokes, England currently have Joe Root, Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow and David Malan as senior players.
