London: It's never easy to pick your favourite team of all-time. There have been so many great cricketers in different eras who have made huge impact on cricket that selecting a playing XI is a big headache.

The lords.org, it seems, has decided to give this headache to some of the best cricketers, former and current, and has asked them to pick their teams.

There are some players, like Shane Warne, who invariably find place in everyone's list while there are some greats who are not picked by anyone. Here is how the 'selectors' have justified their choices:

First up is former Sri Lanka wicketkeeper-batsman and captain Kumar Sangakkara, a great cricketer who himself has been named in the all-time greatest cricket team by many others.

Another great wicketkeeper-batsman and captain from New Zealand, Brendon McCullum, seemed to have favoured some of his teammates. But that's his choice, isn't it?

England's current limited-overs captain Eoin Morgan has a completely different perspective from Sangakkara and McCullum.

Former England spinner Ashley Giles picked more cricketers who excelled in Test cricket.

Current Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews seemed to have more faith in his countrymen. He picked as many as five Sri Lankans in his eleven.

Former Australian pacer Jason Gillespie has clear a bias for pacers as he picked four seamers in his team. Well, that's not surprising.
