John Cena Vs Cody Rhodes, Wrestlemania 41: HIGHLIGHTS
John Cena, as he promised earlier, did not give fans a special entrance, rather, came out in his regular attire, in an all-black themed arena.
Cody Rhodes, on the other hand, came out with a customised head gear. The crowd reaction to the 'American Nightmare' was a mixed one, as he received his fair share of booes and pops.
The match started off on a decent pace, and throughout the match, both competitors produced a series of finishers, with John Cena even hitting a 'Super AA' from the turnbuckle.
As both WWE Superstars were down, world-renowned rap artist Travis Scott made a surprise interference (given his alliance with The Rock & John Cena).
The distraction proved to be costly for Cody Rhodes, as John Cena delivered a low-blow while pleading the champion to not hit him, and with that, John Cena became the new Undisputed WWE Universal champion.
