Mumbai Indians’ skipper Rohit Sharma keeps himself in the headlines because of his straightforward reply to the reporters. He often entertains his fans, both on and off the field. In the  1000th game of the IPL history between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals, Rohit Sharma took off a fan's mobile phone, and a video of the same has gone viral on social media. The incident transpired after the MI vs RR clash when one of the fans asked Rohit to take his phone and click a selfie. After clicking the picture, the Indian skipper did not return the phone and started walking but then that fan reminded him to return his phone and Rohit returned.






Mumbai Indians took to Instagram and posted a video where one of the fans commented, "If I had a mobile, I would not have asked for sure because Rohit Sharma se badhe mobile thodi na hai.”


Earlier, Mumbai Indians outplayed Rajasthan Royals by 6 wickets in a thrilling affair at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday. Rohit also praised Tim David who was the hero of Mumbai Indians helping his team seal a terrific victory.


“It was very pleasing to see how we chased it down today. We have got the ability and back ourselves to chase those kinds of scores. It was really pleasing to see the chase. Its a big shoe to fill, Polly has done it for a long time but Tim has all the attributes to become a great player. He is a great guy to have,” Rohit Sharma said in the post-match about Tim David.
