Rajasthan Royals star all-rounder Rahul Tewatia narrowly escaped a major injury in the 15th match of the Indian Premier League 2020. The incident took place when a high speed ball of Navdeep Saini hit Rahul Tewatia's chest, after which he fell on the ground and started groaning. A nasty beamer from Navdeep Saini hit the chest of Rahul Tewatia after which the young lad he looked in pain.
The incident took place in the 20th over of Rajasthan Royals innings. When Navdeep Saini, who was bowling the last over, hit Rahul Tewatia on chest on the second ball of his over. Navdeep Saini threw a beamer ball in an attempt of a yorker which took Tewatia by surprise and the ball went straight to hit his chest.

As soon as the ball hit Tewatia, he fell on the ground and started groaning with pain. Physio of Rajasthan Royals and players of RCB asked Tewatia about his condition but what surprised everyone was that he did not get hurt at all.
The speed of the ball bowled by Navdeep Saini was 140 km/hr. Despite this, Tewatia immediately got up to bat and after that what he did shocked the players as well as the fans.
Even after getting hit by the ball on the chest, Tewatia smashed back-to-back sixes off Saini's over. In his over, he bagged 15 runs and scored scored an unbeaten 24 off 12 balls to propel Rajasthan Royals to a score of 154 runs in the first innings.
Rahul Tewatia has emerged as the big match winner for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2020. The star power-hitter has hit 11 sixes this season. He is behind only Sanju Samson in terms of maximum sixes. As the tournament progresses, Rahul Tewatia is going to show his strength even further.
