Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Dwayne Bravo bowled superbly well against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 21st match of the 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and picked three wickets. With this, he registered a major milestone to his name on his 37th birthday. The birthday boy on Wednesday became the fifth bowler to take 150 wickets in the IPL.
Bravo completed 150 wickets by dismissing KKR's most successful batsman in tonight's game, Rahul Tripathi (83), Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi. The record of taking most number of wickets in IPL belongs to Sri Lankan speedster Lasith Malinga (170 wickets).

West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo had also become the first bowler to take 500 wickets in T20 cricket. Earlier this year, Rakheem Cornwall became his 500th victim in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Notably, he was also the first to reach 300 wickets (2016) and 400 wickets (2017).
Bravo had achieved this feat while playing for the Trinbago Knight Riders. Before this match, he had 499 wickets in 458 matches. Malinga is at number two with 390 wickets in 295 matches. In the same game, Bravo also became the first bowler to take 100 wickets in CPL.
