IPL 2025 auction venue, dates: A total of 1,574 players, including 1,165 from India and 409 from overseas, have registered for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 auction.


IPL 2025 auction is scheduled to be held over two days, on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. IPL 2025 player auction pool includes 320 capped players, 1,224 uncapped players, and 30 players from Associate Nations. Player registrations officially closed on November 4, 2024.

A total of 204 player slots will be available for teams to fill at Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Player Auction, with each franchise allowed a maximum squad size of 25 players.


On October 31, all 10 IPL franchises announced their retained players, with a total of 46 players being secured by the teams. This sets the stage for numerous high-profile star players to participate in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Auction.






409 overseas players set to go under the hammer in IPL 2025 mega auction


IPL 2025 mega auction features a diverse group of 409 overseas players, broken down by country as follows: Afghanistan has 29 registered players, Australia leads with 76, and England has 52.


Other countries represented include Bangladesh with 13 players, Canada with 4, Ireland with 9, Italy with 1, and Netherlands with 12. New Zealand contributes 39 players, while South Africa has a good representation with 91.


Sri Lanka has 29 players,UAE has 1, USA has 10, and West Indies feature 33 players. Zimbabwe rounds out the list with 8 registered players.
