There was a bit of a drizzle during the first innings of IPL final when Gujarat Titans were batting but the play wasn't stopped and eventually after a few minutes it stopped raining. Fans are now hoping for a complete 40-overs game at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings won the toss and invited Gujarat Titans to bat first in the summit clash. During GT vs CSK IPL Final toss, MS Dhoni spoke about IPL final getting shifted to reserve day, also showing concern for fans who as per the CSK legend "suffered the most".

CSK decided not to make any changes in their playing XI from Qualifier 1, where they defeated GT in their previous encounter.
