The schedule for the 17th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) will be announced in two phases due to clashes with the Lok Sabha elections 2024 dates. As a response to this, BCCI unveiled the schedule for the first phase of IPL 2024.
In the first phase of IPL 2024, a total of 21 matches will be played over the first 15 days. The second phase will be organized after the announcement of Lok Sabha election dates by the Election Commission of India.
42-year-old Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who has guided Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to a record-equaling five titles, will return once again as the skipper of the franchise in IPL 2024.
