Ravindra Jadeja set to end ties with CSK: Four-time Indian Premier League (IPL) winners Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and senior all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja's break-up' is almost certain, Time of India reported. There were internal differences between the two in the 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) and at that time too there were reports that the franchise and the all-rounder will end ties soon. As per the TOI report, there is no contact between the two ever since IPL 202 and they are going to part ways. After coming back from the overseas tour, Jadeja went to the National Cricket Academy(NCA) in Bengaluru for rehab, but during this time he did not make any contact with CSK.
Chennai Super Kings had a pretty rough IPL season this year. All-rounder Jadeja was made the captain of the CSK team at the beginning of the season, but under his captaincy, the team suffered back-to-back defeats after which he left the captaincy in the middle of the season and veteran MS Dhoni took over.
According to a report in InsideSport, Ravindra Jadeja's managers are in talks with other teams about trading offers. However, Jadeja can talk to other teams only after becoming a part of the trading window. But before that Jadeja is also likely to have a meeting with the CSK officials.
If reports are to be believed, Jadeja has been angry ever since he was dropped from the captaincy of CSK in the middle of the season. And this is the reason why he has made up his mind to leave the franchise. The all-rounder was associated with Chennai Super Kings since 2012.
Jadeja in the recent past has done pretty well with the bat and also has been exceptionally good in fielding but same cannot be said about his bowling. The all-rounder hasn't been able to get breakthroughs when needed, and also leaked a lot of runs in his bowling.
