The players' auction for the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) took place in Chennai on 18 February. Ever since uncapped player Arjun Tendulkar has been bagged by defending champions Mumbai Indians for his base price of 20 Lakhs in the IPL 2020 auction, he has been subjected to heavy criticism on internet.

The 22-year-old's signing with the franchise raised quite a few eyebrows and 'Arjun Tendulkar nepotism' claims started doing rounds on social media.

Now, Arjun's sister Sara Tendulkar has come up with a befitting reply to 'nepotism trolls'

Sara wrote a congratulatory message for brother Arjun through an Instagram story and also shared a strong message in her brother's support by writing, 'No one can take this achievement away from you, it is yours.'

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians director of cricket Zaheer Khan recently said that Arjun is a hardworking boy and he has to prove himself. Arjun Tendulkar had thanked the coaches, support staff and team owners after joining the team post IPL auction.
