Here are some Tweets:

A day before the IPL 2011 auction, franchise Kings XI Punjab changed its name to Punjab Kings. Along with this, the logo of the team has also changed. The co-owners of the team, Preity Zinta, captain KL Rahul and star cricketer Chris Gayle, spoke about the story behind changing the name of their team. Skipper Rahul had revealed that Punjab-based franchise is not just 11 players, so XI has been removed from the team's name.

Adding to this, Chris Gayle said: "Absolutely, I love it. Sometimes, it's good to have a change as well. I like what KL said. It's not about the 11 players. It's going to get everyone more involved. Punjab Kings is the way to go."
