Ravindra Jadeja has played for a total of four teams in IPL so far.  He has played a total of 200 IPL matches, giving his service to Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Lions, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, and Rajasthan Royals. Jadeja will today take the top spot in a unique list of players who have played the most matches in IPL without captaining any team.

Jadeja will top the list with 200 IPL matches, followed by Robin Uthappa with 193 matches, AB de Villiers (184) third, and Ambati Rayudu (175) fourth.

Ravindra Jadeja is only the third captain of Chennai, before him Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Suresh Raina have captained the team.

After getting the captaincy of Chennai Super Kings, Jadeja said, "I am very happy, feeling good.  But I have to take over his position. Mahi bhai has already established a huge legacy which I need to carry on.  No need to worry much as Mahi bhai is here. Whatever questions I have, I can go to them. He was and still is here."
