New Delhi: Gujarat Titans are taking on inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) final at World's largest cricket stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson won the toss and opted to bat first against Gujarat Titans.


Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans speedster Lockie Ferguson bowled the fastest delivery of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 on Sunday during high-octane clash against Rajasthan. Ferguson bowled at 157.3 kmph in the last ball of fifth over to break Umran Malik's record.

In IPL 2022, Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer Umran Malik won 14 consecutive 'fastest delivery of the match' but Ferguson won the fastest ball of the tournament by bowling 157.3 kmph in the final.


Umran Malik has bowled brilliantly in IPL 2022. Due to his stellar performances, he has got a place in the Indian team for the upcoming South Africa series. In IPL 2022, Malik bagged a total of 22 wickets in 14 IPL matches. Talking about the match, Rajasthan did not make any changes in their playing XI, while Gujarat included Lockie Ferguson in place of Alzarri Joseph for the summit clash.
