New Delhi: Former South African speedster tormented batters all over the world with his swing and pace during his era. His skills were not limited to the conditions or pitch he bowled. Undoubtedly, Steyn is one of the best bowlers in the world who ever walked on the face of the earth. Steyn retired from all forms of cricket in August 2021. The pace bowler retired from Test cricket in the year 2019. 


Meanwhile, the legendary speedster showed his witty side on Twitter after a random fan replied to one of his tweets, claiming team India's star pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah is a better fast bowler than him.

The 38-year-old joined Sunrisers Hyderabad's coaching staff as their bowling coach. SRH's coaching staff includes Tom Moody (head coach), Brian Lara (batting coach), and Muttiah Muralitharan (spin bowling coach).


Dale Steyn played 93 Tests, 125 One Day Internationals, and 47 T20 Internationals for South Africa. During this, he bagged 439, 196, and 64 wickets in all three formats, respectively.


Steyn is at number two in terms of taking most international wickets for South Africa. Shaun Pollock has taken 823 international wickets for South Africa, while Steyn has taken 697 international wickets.
