RR vs PBKS, IPL 2021 UAE: Hustling for 4th spot in IPL Points Table, Punjab Kings will lock horns with Rajasthan Royals today at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Both sides, with six points each are placed at the bottom of IPL 2021 points table and will be looking to kick-off the UAE leg of the tournament with a win to leapfrog Mumbai Indians into 4th spot.

Today, fans will witness the contest between two teams that have some of the best power hitters of the game. Hard-hitting batsmen like Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran and Shahrukh Khan are in the team of Punjab, on the other hand, Rajasthan have dangerous hitters like Liam Livingstone and Evin Lewis. There will also be a tough battle between two wicket-keeper captains Sanju Samson of Rajasthan and KL Rahul of Punjab.

Punjab Kings, led by KL Rahul, has won three out of eight matches in the first phase of the IPL. The team is present in the sixth place in the IPL Points table with six points. From here it won't be easy for Punjab to make it to the playoffs. The team will have to win most of their next six matches.

A lot will depend on Punjab skipper KL Rahul, who has scored 331 runs in 7 matches in IPL 2021. He is just a few steps away from completing the second fastest 3000 runs in the history of IPL.

Rajasthan has performed better this year. The team is at the fifth position in the IPL points table. Rajasthan have been hit hard due to non-availability of some big names and will try to make it to the playoffs by winning the next few matches.

Like the first phase, this time in the UAE too, the team will be hoping for a quick start from captain Sanju Samson, who is also the most successful batsman of his team in this year's IPL. He has scored 277 runs in seven matches at an average of 46.16 and strike rate of 145.78.  His best score is 119 runs, which he made against Punjab while chasing the target.
