New Delhi: After completion of Qualifier 1 on Sunday, today Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in Eliminator match. The team that loses tonight will be knocked out from the tournament and that winner will lock horns with Delhi Capitals in the second qualifier.

RCB vs KKR Eliminator match is expected to turn out a fiery clash as both the teams have been performing well throughout the tournament. Being an Eliminator, tonight's match is very important for RCB captain Virat Kohli, as he has already announced that he will step down as Bangalore skipper after this season and tonight's game can also be his last as RCB captain.

Talking about Bangalore's journey so far, Glenn Maxwell, Devdutt Padikkal, Sreekar Bharat, skipper Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers have performed brilliantly so far, while Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammad Siraj and Harshal Patel have played their part well in the bowling.

The team management and fans will expect the big names to showcase their skills in tonight's Eliminator match as well. Considering the performance of the players in the last match, there is very little hope of RCB making any changes in the match against Kolkata.

On the other hand, Kolkata's bowling, so far in the tournament have been better than their batting. Young star players Rahul Tripathi, Shubman Gill and Nitish Rana have been in good form with the bat and everyone will expect them to deliver in today's crucial encounter as well. Andre Russell might replace Shakib Al Hasan in playing XI for RCB vs KKR eliminator.
