The Indian contingent concluded the opening day, the first official day in Asian Games 2023, with a remarkable tally of five medals – three silver and two bronze medals – showcasing their prowess across various disciplines. Earlier in the women's 10m air rifle team event, comprising Ashi Chouksey, Mehuli Ghosh, and Ramita Jindal, India won its first medal of the ongoing Hangzhou 2023 Asian Games, a silver in shooting. The record-breaking performance of the Men's 10m Air Rifle team will undoubtedly be celebrated as one of the standout moments of the games.
