IND vs SL: Virat Kohli on Tuesday notched up his career's 73rd international century, his 45th in 50-overs format as he moved another step closer towards establishing himself as the greatest cricketer and sporting personalities of all time. The batting maestro reached his fifty off 47 balls and scored his century off 80 deliveries. Notably, Virat had luck on his side as he got two reprives - his two catches were dropped by the Sri Lankan players in today's game.

Virat, who reached triple figures on the second ball of 47th over, celebrated the milestone with a fist pump celebration. The video of a 'pumped-up' Virat Kohli, jumping high in the air to celebrate his hundred, went viral on the internet. 






Virat Kohli broke many records with this ton. This was his 9th ODI century against Sri Lanka, and his 20th ton on home soil. By the virtue of this ton, he also equaled Sachin Tendulkar's record of 20 centuries.
