IND vs ENG: India have set many records in the Lord's Test match by beating England by 151 runs. The match was memorable for several reasons, but many arguments and heated banters also took place between the players of both the teams. As a matter of fact, during the match, English players argued with Jasprit Bumrah and Virat Kohli. Team India took this as motivation to perform brilliantly and they eventually attained a spectacularl win.
England coach baffled after criticism
After a crushing defeat in the second Test, many cricketing personalities, including former England players, have criticized England. However, team England's head coach Chris Silverwood has made a strange statement. Silverwood has said that they are not afraid of fighting and will respond if India tries to topple them.
Silverwood said, "The main thing is that we are not afraid of fighting even a little. If they push us, we will respond too. Although we are disappointed with the result, we think it was a good Test. Although some arguments did happen between players, we need to take it positively. I enjoyed the match as players from both teams fought for victory. In case we get in this position again, we need a Plan A soon. I don't mind the aggressive approach and you have to give credit to team India but at the same time we have to look at your strategy too."
It all started when Jasprit Bumrah started throwing bouncers at James Anderson on the third day of the game. But Anderson did not like it and was seen saying something to Bumrah on his way back. However, It didn't end here. When Indian captain Virat Kohli came in to bat the next day, he decided to reply to Anderson. The third Test between India and England will begin on August 25.
