Indian Batsman Manoj Tiwary joined the chorus on Twitter and expressed his disappointment on the omission of SKY and Akshar Patel by the BCCI. Taking a dig he said that some years down the line, few cozy group of people will say that u both were born/played at the wrong era but I would say you could have easily played alongside your competitors .
“Hard luck@akshar2026 and @surya_14kumar on not making it to the Indian team dis time. Some years down d line, few cosy group of people will say that u both were born/played at d wrong Era but i would say u cud have easily played along side ur competitors,” he tweeted.
“To represent India in cricket in any format. What does one has to have ?? I have my answers ready. What do u all think ?” he tweeted.
The itinerary of the tour is yet to be announced, but tour is expected to be played between November 27 and January 19.
Squad for T20I includes Virat Kohli (captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul (vice-captain and wicket-keeper), Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, Sanju Samson (wicket-keeper), Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Navdeep Saini, Deepak Chahar, Varun Chakravarthy.
