Both India and South Africa battled hard to keep the momentum on their side ahead of crucial 3rd day's play but the game, as has been the case all series, continues to be in the balance.
The visitors would have ended up as a much happier side if they would have managed to prevent losing early wickets while facing the fiery spells from Kagiso Rabada (1/25) and Marco Jansen (1/7), who rocked the Indian batting lineup by getting big breakthroughs in form of Mayank Agarwal (7) and KL Rahul (10). The Indian openers yet again departed cheaply.
Earlier, a clinical spell from Jasprit Bumrah helped India bowl out South Africa for 210 runs. The pacer picked his seventh five-fer and was supported well by Umesh Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah who chipped with two wickets apiece.
