While Hardik Pandya deserved all the praise for executing his plans very well, deliberately bowling short-pitched deliveries to force the batters to play a lofted shot, it was Ravindra Jadeja who completed two beautiful catches to dismiss Jos Buttler and Liam Livingstone. These two wickets ensured that Hardik registers his career's best bowling figures in ODI cricket.
The wickets of Buttler (60 runs off 80 balls) and Livingstone (27 runs in 31 balls) were crucial as the duo had stitched a solid 49 runs stand to push England towards a big total.
