The Suryakiran Aerobatic Team was formed in 1996 and consists of highly trained IAF pilots who showcase their expertise in precision aerobatics. The team has enchanted many spectators in India and abroad flying the Hawk Mk 132 aircraft.


The team rehearsed on Friday and Saturday giving people a glimpse of what awaited fans in the stadium on the D-day. India reached the ODI World Cup final by defeating New Zealand on Wednesday while Australia overcame by winning a super-entertaining game against South Africa by three wickets in the second semifinal of the World Cup on Thursday.
