Kolkata: BCCI President Sourav Ganguly's consistent efforts and backing for a pink ball Test saw the light of the day in grand fashion as Virat Kohli-led team India defeated the visiting Bangladeshi team by an innings and 46 runs to wrap up the two-match Test series a 2-0 series at Kolkata’s iconic Eden Gardens stadium on Sunday. President Ganguly led from the front to ensure the historic moment in Indian cricket history.

Meanwhile, ‘Dada’ – who had a pretty busy last week as he was in charge to ensure that everything was in place for India vs Bangladesh first-ever D/N Test - engaged in a funny banter with his daughter Sana on Instagram.

After conclusion of IND vs BAN day-night Test, Ganguly took to Instagram to post a picture from the post match ceremony in which he can be seen sporting a serious look. Sana took a funny jibe at his father by commenting on post: "What is it that you're not liking".

Ganguly quickly replied: "that ur becoming so disobedient". However, Sana reacted to Dada’s comment with a witty reply: "Learning from you," Sana posted as a comment on Ganguly's post.

In an interview to IANS, Ganguly had expressed that it almost felt like it was a World Cup final being played at the historic ground when team India locked horns with Bangladesh in the second and final pink ball Test.

"Just take a look around (fans with their camera lights on to click pictures). Do you see this? Have you seen this in Test cricket? When was the last time you had a capacity crowd watching a Test match? Feels like it is a World Cup final," he smiled.

"Oh! It is an absolutely amazing feeling. Feels great. Look for yourself. It brings back memories of the 2001 Test match if you ask me. This is what Test cricket should be, packed stadiums," he added.
