New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer and current mentor of the Bengal Ranji team, Arun Lal is all set to marry for a second time. Lal and his wife-to-be, Bulbul Saha held their haldi ceremony on April 24 and pictures from the time shows the couple dressed in bright and cheerful yellow dresses. While Lal, dressed in a yellow kurta, his partner Bulbul opted for a saree of the same colour with a red blouse. 


Most of the family members were present during the haldi ceremony who showered the couple with their blessings. Rituals were performed by the couple in presence of their respective family members.

It has been reported that Lal had got consent from her first wife Reena before to tie knot with Bulbul 


Meanwhile the image of his wedding’s invitation card is also doing rounds on social media. As per the invitation card, the wedding ceremony will take place on May 2 at Peerless Inn in Kolkata.

The former right hand batsman made his debut in test cricket in the year 1982 against Sri Lanka while the last test match he played was in 1989 against West Indies. Post retirement, Lal featured as commentator during matches where he shared the box with his colleagues and used to do Hindi commentaries. 


The former Indian cricketer is also a cancer survivor. In 2016, he was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma, a rare type of salivary glands cancer, which he overcame.
