Euro 2024 Final: Spain and England are contesting for the all-elusive trophy of Euro, as the sides are playing the Final of Euro 2024. During the first half, every player received his share of cheer and a bit of no-response from the fans, but it was Spain's Marc Cucurella who was heavily booed by the fans, or to be precise, the 'German fans' during the fixture. But why is Spain's left-back being receiving such a hostile reception?

Well, the Chelsea man has been highly controversial throughout the tournament, as some interesting decisions took place which saw him being heavily, or say, completeley involved in the incident. The most infamous one being the handball during Spain Vs Germany Quarter final match at Euro 2024, where Jamal Musiala's attempt clearly struck the hand of Marc Cucurella, as the latter's hand was hanging freely in the air.

However, no penalty was awarded as the ball was played in by Niclas Fullkrug, who was in an off-side position and thus, Spain survived a scare, However, this infuriated German fans and the Spanish left-back became a national villian and was heavily booed even during the semi final fixture against France.

German fans outrage extended to off-the-pitch as fell, as social media was flooded in with tweets and videos against Marc Cucurella.
