Ravindra Jadeja in IPL 2023: Speculation about Chennai Super Kings (CSK) parting ways with star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja due to a rift have been in the news for a long time. However, if a report in Cricbuzz is to be believed, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have denied releasing or trading Ravindra Jadeja from their team. Jadeja unfollowed CSK on social media and later veteran MS Dhoni confirmed that he'll be playing and leading the 'yellow army' in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 after which fans and cricket pundits highly speculated that Jadeja might leave Chennai Super Kings (CSK) but now it seems this isn't the case.

A few days back, Shubman Gill was in the news too after Gujarat Titans posted a cryptic tweet, hinting that the star opener will be leaving the franchise for another team in IPL 2023.

"It's been a journey to remember. We wish you all the best for your next endeavour, @ShubmanGill!," Gujarat Titans tweeted.

“Recent reports even suggested a trade between CSK and Gujarat Titans for Jadeja and Shubman Gill. Both the franchises have denied the trade-off categorically to Cricbuzz,” A report by them read.

“There have, however, been requests for trade for Jadeja from a couple of other teams, Delhi Capitals being one of them. But the CSK management has told Cricbuzz that they have no plans to part with the all-rounder, arguably one of the best in the world.”

Gujarat Titans, as per Cricbuzz, have also denied trading-off any player yet.

“Besides Jadeja, Cricbuzz understands that Gujarat Titans have got requests for trade for Rahul Tewatia and R Sai Kishore but the IPL champions have declined the offers. The transfer/trade window will remain open till one week before the auction and will re-open after it,” the report added.
