Former India all-rounder Yusuf Pathan turned back the clock as he unleashed 'beast mode' on Friday (July 28) during Qualifier 1 match of the ongoing Zim Afro T10 match in Harare. The 40-year-old, regarded as one of India's best hitters in T20 cricket, played a sensational innings of 26-balls 80 to power his side Joburg Buffaloes to the final of the tournament. Joburg defeated Durban Qalandars by 6 wickets in Qualifier 1 and now will play Zim Afro T10 tournament final match on July 29. The highlight of Pathan's innings was him hammering ex-Pakistan pacer Mohaamad Amir for 24 runs in one over.

Yusuf came out to bat at number four for Joburg and stayed unbeaten at the crease after hitting four fours and nine sixes. In the eighth over of the match, the former India star all-rounder smacked Amir for two consecutive sixes on first two balls of his over, the third ball was a dot ball, but the fourth ball was once hit into the stands for a maximum. Amir then bowled a wide and then conceded two and four runs off the last two deliveries of his over.

Zim Afro T20 tournament final will be played on Saturday (July 29) at 8:30 PM IST at the Harare Sports Club where once again Joburg Buffaloes will square off against Durban Qalandars. Qalandars booked their berth in the summit clash by defeating Harare Hurricanes in Qualifier 2 by four wickets.
