Rishabh Pant may have missed out oh his maiden ODI half-century by just two runs but his fearless batting was one of the attractions of India's face-off with Bangladesh at Edgbaston on Tuesday.

Came to bat at No 4, Pant slammed 48 off 41 after India had lost their top three batters, including skipper Virat Kohli. His innings was laced with six boundaries and a maximum.

Showering praise on young stumper, former India batsman Yuvraj Singh feels that Pant is India’s best-suited No. 4 batsman for the future. Yuvraj also said that the wicketkeeper-batsman needs to be groomed properly for the slot.

“I think finally we have found our no 4 batsman for the future! Let's groom him properly yeah! @RishabPant777,” Yuvraj tweeted during the ongoing World Cup clash between India and Bangladesh in Birmingham.

The former Indian dynamic all-rounder was also delighted to see Rohit Sharma scoring his 4th ton in the ongoing tournament. Since the Indian vice-captain became the leading run-scorer of the tournament, Yuvraj calls his one of the contenders to grab the 'Man of the Series' award.

In a do-or-die game for Bangladesh, opener Rohit Sharma notched up his fourth century of this year's World Cup to power India to 314/9.
