The 23-year old Haq broke the record of Salim Malik, who achieved the feat at the age of 24.


Haq also became the eleventh Pakistani batsman to score a century at the World Cup and joined an elite list of former great like Saeed Anwar, Rameez Raja, Aamir Sohail, Javed Miandad. He also became the second Pakistani batsman after Babar Azam to score a ton in the ongoing World Cup

Imam has been pretty solid at the top of the order in the tournament, amassing 305 runs in 8 games for the Green Shirts with one century and one half ton.
