Australia defeated arch rivals by 64 runs at Lord's to register their fifth win the ongoing ICC World Cup and book a place in the semifinals of the tournament. Australia's win was sparked off by a breezy century by their skipper Aaron Finch and the bowling heroics of Mitchell Starc and Jason Behendroff.

Jason Behendroff playing in only his second World Cup game took a five wicket haul which proved to be the match winning performance with the ball for the Australians.

Behendroff became only the twelfth Australian bowler to take a five wicket haul at the World Cup.

After setting a challenging 286-run total against England, Australian seamer attack combined brilliantly to bowl out the English by making regular inroads all through the match.

Jason Behendroff made a memorable debut at the Mecca of Cricket by picking up a five wicket haul against Australia's traditional rivals in their own backyard. Bowling with the new ball for Australia, Behrendorff got into the act in his very first over dismissing opener James Vince for a duck. The left arm pacer then struck again to remove Jonny Bairstow.

After Aussie pace spearhead Mitchell Starc dented the English middle order by dismissing Root, Morgan and Stokes; Behendroff came back with a fiery spell to polish off the Australian tail with wickets of Chris Woakes, Moeen Ali and Jofra Archer to help his team clinch a thumping win.
