BAN vs SA 2nd Test: Wiaan Mulder, the South African bowling allrounder, slammed his maiden Test century in the ongoing Bangladesh vs South Africa 2nd Test of the series in Chattogram as South Africa continued their scoring spree on October 30 (Wednesday), declaring the first innings on 577-6. Mulder’s first Test ton marked a unique achievement, as he became the third player from the same team to score a maiden century in this match. Proteas batters Tony de Zorzi and Tristan Stubbs had also reached their respective maiden centuries earlier in Chattogram.

Leading the series by 1-0, South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first. Captain Aiden Markram and Zorzi gave the team a good start but Markram lost his wicket for 33 runs. However, Stubbs joined hands with Zorzi to notch a 201-run partnership. Both Zorzi and Stubbs got to their respective hundreds as Zorzi scored 177 runs and Stubbs scored 106 runs. Zorzi also formed a 116-run partnership with David Bedingham before South Africa lost four quick wickets.
