Virat Kohli-captained Indian team will get their month long tour of the West Indies underway when they face the Maroon Brigade in the first of the 3-match T20 match series at Lauderhill in Florida later in the evening. The match is scheduled to begin at 8:30 pm (IST)


Indians who were all conquering against the Windies in the last T20 series held between the two sides in November 2018, will aim to continue their winning streak against the 'Maroon Brigade' in their backyard.

However, the Windies will take confidence from the fact that they have beaten the Indians twice in three of the encounters played between the two teams on Caribbean Soil.

The series will be the first international assignment for both the teams after the culmination of the 2019 ICC World Cup. While India will be led by Virat Kohli, the Windies team will be skippered by Carlos Brathwaite.
