Former Pakistan Cricket Team all-rounder Shoaib Malik has sparked a new series of controversy by marrying compatriot Sana Javed on an undisclosed date. The update regarding the marriage was shared via Shoaib Malik's official X account (formerly Twitter) account and was later informed by various Twitter handles regarding the same. Shoaib Malik was already rumoured to be dating the Pakistani address, amidst the reported rumours of him and Indian lawn tennis legend Sania Mirza filing for a divorce.

Sana Javed is a Pakistani actress and was rumoured to be dating the Pakistani cricketer Shaoib Malik since 2021. The two have been spotted together a couple of time and the rumour attained a strong insight when Shaoib wished Sana Javed "happy birthday" last year by posting a picture of them together. Not just this, he even defended Sana on previous occasions, one such being on her infamous fight with junior artists and crew of show Pyaare Afzal.
