New Delhi: A silly drop catch, an unusual slip in the middle of the pitch, a fielder making the crowd dance to his steps; Cricket has seen many such lighter moments but none can match the hilarious incident which took place on Day 4 of the third test between Pakistan and West Indies.

Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir lofted leg spinner Devendra Bishoo over his head thinking it would go over the ropes but Roston Chase pulled the ball back into play. A perplexed Amir then set off for a run only to tangle his bat between his legs and ended up being run out in the most bizarre way possible.

The incident left everyone baffled and it became a rage on social media.

Interestingly, this was not the first time when a Pakistani player was involved in a funny run out, former Pakistan captain Inzamam-Ul-Haq was famously involved in many such hilarious incidents that left the viewers gasping for breath.

West Indies went on to win the match by five wickets to secure their first victory since May 2015. Pakistan, however, won the series 2-1.
