New Delhi: Sports personalities across the country have come together to help those in need as the nation fights the deadly COVID-19 pandemic. From donating money to auctioning their jerseys, cricketers not only in India but across the world have been doing their bit for the community in such tough times.

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to wreak havoc in the country, the Indian cricket team former opener Virender Sehwag took to social media to reveal that he provided home-cooked meals for migrant workers.

Urging his fans to donate, Sehwag also posted photos of himself and his family, packing meals for those in need. The legendary cricketer also shared pictures of the home-cooked food reaching the needy.

Sehwag's post read: "The satisfaction of cooking and packing food from the comfort of your own homes and getting it distributed to the most needy migrant labourers in these times in a satisfaction few things can match."

"If you like to contribute by making good for 100 people from your own home please DM on Twitter to @sehwagfoundatn," he wrote further.

Team India's veteran spinner Harbjahan Singh lauded Sehwag by commenting: "Well done Lala."

In one of the recent videos dedicated to family time, Virender Sehwag was seen watching Siddharth Kumar Tewary's RadhaKrishn along with his family.

Siddharth shared the video on Instagram along with a heartfelt caption. He wrote, "I have grown up being entertained by you @virendersehwag ... i feel blessed to entertain a legend like you and ur entire family !!! U proved to the world that attitude is everything !!!
