Days ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup, Indian skipper Virat Kohli and young stumper Rishabh Pant teamed up to endorse a face care product. The makers released the new advertisement video on Thursday were both the cricketers could be seen rapping about the benefits of the product.

“Walking like a dude, feeling all cool, you've got the look, you're gonna rule,” Kohli could be seen lip syncing these words at the start of the jingle.

Both of them took to their Twitter handle to share the new ad. However, the ad couldn’t please the fans as they found it completely bizarre.

Here’s the video:

The video caught the attention of several international cricketers as well. While English quick Stuart Broad suggested that ‘Jos Buttler’ and ‘Ben Stokes’ could have been better ambassadors, Fox Cricket also shared the video, reckoning a ‘new career for Virat after retirement’.

But above all, the Twitterati are confused over the ad and brutally trolled Kohli and Pant for enacting a song based on PIMPLES.

Check out some of the reactions:

During the launch of the product, Kohli said, "I am very excited to be a part of Team Himalaya and be the ambassador for their Men's Face Wash range. I have been a patron of Himalaya products for a long time now."

Pant added, "Himalaya has helped people lead happier and healthier lives for over 88 years, and I am proud to be the brand ambassador for the Men's Grooming range of Himalaya."
