After registering a terrific 6-wicket win over the Delhi Capitals on Tuesday night, MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) had a blast after heading back to the dressing room. Besides their second consecutive win in the tournament, it was the 35th birthday of Kedar Jadhav.

It turned out to be a huge bash in the CSK dressing room where Jadhav remained the centre of attraction. Maintaining the Indian change room tradition, the birthday boy was smeared with cake all over his body. Later, the CSK shared a video of the celebration on their official Twitter handle where Suresh Raina could be seen holding his hands from the back while all other cricketers gave him a cake facial.

The Chennai franchise also shared the pictures where Jadhav could be seen posing with his captain and other teammates.

Earlier on Tuesday night, Shane Watson and Suresh Raina made batting look easy on a lifeless track as Chennai Super Kings coasted to a six-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals. Shikhar Dhawan's painstaking half-century was the only silver lining in Delhi Capitals' sub-par total of 147 for six which the defending champions overtook with two balls to spare.

When CSK started their chase, it was expected that the slowness will be a factor but it seemed Watson (44 off 26 balls) and Suresh Raina (30 off 16 balls) were batting on a different track. They showed positive intent which was singularly lacking in Dhawan and Co.

They hit eight fours and four sixes between them to add 52 runs in only four overs and there was no recovery from that onslaught.
