Meanwhile, captain Harmanpreet Kaur also looked set to cross the landmark before she got out in a bizarre manner.
The Indian captain was trying to complete a run when her bat got stuck at the keeper's end and the ball disturbed the wickets before she could put it inside the crease. Danni Wyatt was the fielder whose direct-hit throw caught Harmanpreet outside her crease. That meant an unfortunate end to Harmanpreet's dismissal.
